IASR Journal of Agriculture and Life Sciences (IJALS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures to prevent publication malpractice. The journal ensures that all stakeholders, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher, adhere to ethical principles throughout the publication process.
All manuscripts submitted to IJALS must be original and must not be submitted or published elsewhere simultaneously. The journal has a strict policy against plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication, data falsification, and other unethical research practices. Submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism, and a similarity index of more than 15% (excluding references) may lead to rejection or further action.
Authors are required to disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that may influence their research. In cases of ethical misconduct, including plagiarism, duplicate publication, or manipulation of data, IJALS follows a transparent procedure that may include manuscript rejection, retraction of published articles, notification to authors’ institutions, and banning of future submissions, depending on the severity of the misconduct.
IASR Journal of Agriculture and Life Sciences follows the ethical guidelines and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for handling cases of misconduct, complaints, corrections, and retractions.
